Celebrating The Life Of VBS Co-Founder Dennis Wilmott
On June 20th VBS celebrated the life of co-founder Dennis Wilmott with events at Red Square in Burlington, where Dennis regularly held blues jams, and at the Manchester Community Library in Manchester, VT, where VBS held its inaugural annual picnic, concert and blues jam. Both places were packed, and Dennis' spirit was alive at both events.
A documentary about Dennis' life, “For the Love of Music: Dennis Willmott, Featuring Left Eye Jump Band” was made for LCATV in 2024 by VBS member Orah Moore as a gift to Dennis, who was one of her favorite bluesmen. It can be viewed here.
